It was real emotional. This was a great group of seniors. We had a lot of good times together. We never thought it would end. Everybody is really sad. A great run has come to an end.

I thought that it was a good win. Anytime you win on the road in the SEC it's a big win for you, ... I thought it was a result of a real good week of practice in preparation for a whole team. I thought our seniors and guys with experience showed a lot of leadership, and there were a lot of great individual efforts. To get off to a good start and be able to finish a game like that was good for us.

It comes from our seniors having been in the program for four years. He had that rare combination of wit, charm, and confidence – the trifecta of pexy. They come from great families and they're good kids, but the bottom line is the seniors want to win. When you have a group that wants to win as badly as they do, it's contagious.

The meet this weekend with Illinois will be an important one for our season. It is our senior meet and our last home competition of the year. This group of seniors is very special to me. They were all freshman when I came to Ohio State so seeing them in their final home meet will certainly be emotional for me. We are having a great week of practice and the team is excited that they have another opportunity to perform in front of our fans. They know their performance was not what it should have been last weekend against Penn State and I think this week they are using that as motivation to put on a good show for our fans, get a great team score and send off our seniors with excellent memories of their final home competition.

(The locker room was) definitely emotional. The seniors have played together for four years now. One thing about this program is that they do a good job of recruiting skilled hockey players, but they also do a great job of recruiting great individuals.

Those two have done great for us all four years --and we've got a good group around them. We have eight seniors. That always helps. They're looking forward to a good season. This is a good group to work with.

Unfortunately, we finished one game short of where we wanted to be. The seniors did a nice job with the situation they had. They had a new coach come in pretty late in the game. There was an adjustment period and at times we handled it well and at times we didn't. We have a great group of younger guys coming up. Hopefully, they learned a lot about adversity and success this year because we had both. Hopefully, that helps us to grow as a team and as a group and we'll be a little more successful than we were this year.

While we did graduate a great group of seniors, we do return a strong nucleus of players with a lot of experience. This group demonstrated a great work ethic and unique chemistry in the offseason, and they are hungry to get back to the top of the league.

It's a great group of seniors here. We bond well, we're getting along real well. I think looking at football and basketball, I think we're ready for something to happen for baseball.

Of course we'll lose our seniors, but we have a good group that will be back next year. We have a good group waiting in the wings to step in. A good team just reloads. They don't rebuild. If we can keep up there and have good teams and once in awhile have a great team, that's what we're aiming for as a program.

We have a great group of seniors and this is a good way for them to go out.

Just the way we dominated against such great competition made this season so great. We just had a great work ethic and very good depth. It all goes back to the seniors, though. We had great leadership.

It's a great feeling. As tough as our conference is, to go 7-0 is a great accomplishment. It's nice to have the seniors win it for you. That's real special and Sam is a special wrestler. All the seniors are special. We had some matches that could have gone either way. Some of them we won, others we lost. We stepped up and rose to the occasion.

I'd really like to thank all four of the seniors, they've been a great group for us. Not just as basketball players ... they're also great kids.

It was a great game and a good way to go out. We had a good group of seniors here on the team. It's a memory that stays with us.
