There are a lot fewer applications that run on Linux, and this may affect the acceptance. But price is the key. The growth rate for computers in the low-end market is faster than in the high-end market.

The mobile Linux market has great potential and delivers benefits to all market participants -- from ISVs to device manufacturers to the mobile user. An offering, such as the Access Linux Platform, that incorporates and supports mobile Linux standards, can only help foster the growth of this market.

The rate of annual growth has been slowing as would be expected, with most of the rise in the market having occurred in 2004 and 2005, but now the price growth curve is flattening out and the market appears to have reached a comfortable plateau.

Through these centers we are trying to encourage the development community to help propagate a growing array of high-quality apps that can run on Linux. It is applications that sell our boxes, and it is applications that are the core requirement for success and acceptance by customers.

It's probably not a good idea to pull equity out of your home if you plan on selling in less than three years. It's not this white-hot market anymore. Houses stay on the market longer, you have fewer buyers, and having that price leverage is very important. Price really appeals to the market the most.

Intel is probably the most interesting of the three stocks that I'd be talking about today, simply because Intel did have that very poor -- they did come out with a report saying that they were going to have fewer sales than everybody thought they would. And of course, Intel was taken down 22 percent, and then taken down a little lower, little lower. Right now it's down quite a bit off its high for the year. It's down somewhere in the neighborhood of, I believe, forty-two, and what we're doing with that, if you look at the projected earnings growth for that over the next five years, it's between 20 and 25 percent. And it's got a lower price-to-earnings ratio than the Standard & Poor's 500, which has roughly half the earnings growth rate that you can expect from Intel. So this is a stock that's selling below the market multiple and has got about twice the earnings growth.

If properly implemented, and with sufficiently broad participation by patent-holders, this approach may streamline the implementation of Linux in a broad range of applications. The result should be a dramatic increase in development and acceptance of Linux-based applications which could eventually pose a greater threat to industry behemoth Microsoft.

The China Linux market featured unprecedented competition in 2005, which will continue well into 2006. As a direct result of such intense competition, price wars will be inevitable in 2006. Most of the public tenders closed with relatively low prices in 2005. Keen price competition continues to serve as a major barrier to the China Linux market.

WAN optimization is still a relatively small market, but it's poised for tremendous growth because it balances the desire to consolidate data centers with the need to deliver applications to an ever more distributed workforce. There was a lot of activity in the WAN optimization market last year: acquisitions, new companies entering the market, and significant growth.

The market is much stronger now. From an employment standpoint it's growing in a number of different areas, not just high tech. The growth rate is slower and, in my opinion, more sustainable, and the housing market is on very solid footing.

The market is highly sensitized to headlines that could affect supply. Anxiety over supplies and possible disruptions are the key drivers of price now. It's hard to be bearish in a market like this. Levels came off the record high mainly due to profit-taking because prices went up too quickly. But $65-$70 seems a very distinct possibility as we approach winter.

Last quarter there was $1.5 billion in Linux server sales as an industry, with Linux server revenue growing eight times that of the overall server market at 42 percent, versus five percent growth for the total sever market. That growth was also more than four times that of Microsoft's Windows Server, which gained 10 percent.

Given our strong market position and leadership in high-performance Internet solutions, we continue to expect to grow significantly faster than the market, with anticipated growth in revenue and earnings per share from operations in the 30 to 35 percent range,
