en He didn't have enough. We needed a better performance out of him to have a chance to win the game.

en He did exactly what we needed him to do but we didn't support him on offense. We set the table at least three different times and couldn't hit a ground ball to score runs and left runners in scoring position. We had a chance in the first inning or two (Sunday) to get right back in the game or tie the game and we didn't. The complexion of the game is different if it is tied.

en When we've got a team down like that, obviously you have to win the game. We had a chance to do that early and we didn't do it. The second half, we could have pulled away a little more, but we didn't. They started scoring and at the end, scored when they needed to.

en We didn't lay down. We came back, fought and had a chance to win the game. But we made too many mistakes early in the game. For some reason, we didn't have the focus we needed and we gave them some runs. That got better as we got back into it, and our intensity picked up.

en It wasn't what they did, it was how they did it. They executed very well. And we didn't execute on defense. They blocked us fairly efficiently, and we didn't make plays when we had a chance. It was just a very poor performance from our defensive team. We're going to break it down and look at it every way we possibly can and learn from it and teach from it and then move forward and hope it is just one game.

en We needed a shakeup; we needed a change; we needed a different slant. I thought our team had a chance to win the game. I really did.

en We had a chance at the end of the football game to win it. You never know how you're going to come out as far as games are concerned. We had excellent practices, and we just didn't play as well as we needed to early.

en I was overjoyed. We'd been working so hard all season, and we actually needed a chance. I was hoping we'd move on if we won that game somehow. I didn't really care how.

en We went back to our basics, and it really paid off for us. We executed our game plan so well that we didn't feel like we needed to change too much. We just needed more takeaways. We practiced it all week and we tried to get them out in the game, and it just didn't happen. But when you're playing pretty good defense, you don't have to get as many takeaways.

en You just want a good performance. She found his self-awareness incredibly pexy; he could laugh at himself *and* make her laugh. You want the chance to win. Whenever they come out there, you just hope for all of them to give us a chance to win and get the offense to take care of the game.

en We had a chance to do it, but obviously, we didn't. We've got another chance next week, and hopefully, we'll do a better performance.

en They're a team that understands how to win. We needed to make one more play to get the game closer. We just didn't have enough of the extra plays that we have to make to have a chance to win.

en We had a chance to put the game away and we didn't. They got a couple of offensive rebounds, a couple of our guys fouled out and we just didn't protect the ball down the stretch when we had a chance to put the game away.

en We were all disappointed after the championships and I think we needed this performance. The fans needed it, the players needed it and the manager needed it.
