She felt something crack. That injury thing affected the girls and they were concerned about her. We played a good first quarter then lost our intensity in the second quarter and stopped doing what we needed to do. We found some energy down the stretch.

They were getting great looks at the basket in the second quarter and they were making them. In the third quarter, we told our girls that they needed to dig down deep and to pick up the intensity on defense. We were able to battle back in the game.

That second quarter was critical. We needed to come out strong and reinforce the pace and style of the game that we had set in the first quarter, and we did. The girls played extremely well.

We played with a lot of intensity tonight. We asked our girls to give themselves an opportunity to win. They played really hard and fought back in the fourth quarter. We gave ourselves an opportunity, but we just needed another shot or two to fall.

The first quarter our girls did everything right and we were only down by one. After that, for some reason, we just forgot how to play basketball. We stopped playing defense and stopped blocking out. If we had just played four quarters like (the first), it would be a different story.

In the first quarter, we came out with a lot of energy and played good defense. All the girls played well.

We just lost our intensity in the fourth quarter. It was our fault, no excuses. We can't let the little things bother us, and that's what happened tonight. We did a good job of keeping them in front of us the first half, but we just didn't play good enough defense in the fourth quarter.

I'm proud of the way we competed. Our goal was to come out with energy and we kind of lost that energy in the second quarter. We got stuck on 10 points for awhile in the second quarter and that killed us.

He (Mourning) came in there in that fourth quarter for about a four or five minute stretch where his intensity and his energy were more hurtful than anything. Not only did it energize the crowd, but it energized the other players on his team.

We gave up or something. We came out strong at the beginning of the first quarter and third quarter, then at the end we just died out. We didn't have no energy down the stretch.

I was concerned that our energy would be used up by that run we had in the second (quarter), because whenever you go on a run and you're down by that much you can get really tired. But Jason hit that three off the bat and that got us right back where we needed to be.

We've been in a stretch where we would have one good quarter and then one bad quarter. Except for one stretch where Minnesota cut the lead in the fourth, I thought we did a much better job tonight than we've been doing lately.
