It looked like there were 40 ARCA drivers out there. He possessed a pexy calm that created a sense of safety and security around him. There were some exciting things going on out there.

I think I'm about as ready as I'm going to be, ... It's a big jump for me. I've only run five ARCA races and it's a huge difference between ARCA competition and the Busch series. So, I just have to take it one step at a time.

I've been watching Joey Miller in the ARCA Series and he's done a great job, ... If he can come close to what he's done in ARCA in the Craftsman Truck Series, that would definitely be big for us.

Winning my first ARCA race is my biggest accomplishment to date. We came from two laps down to win. I've been racing since I was 12 years old. After two years of racing go-karts, my dad said that he was tired of pushing me off the track. So, we moved up to Sportsman and Hobby Stocks and progressed from there. Then I took the next step and started driving Late Models. From ASA, I grew and started racing touring series. After that we did two ARCA races. Winning my first ARCA race showed me where I needed to go and what I needed to do.

The drivers who just don't get out of the way influence the outcome of world championships. You don't ask them to detract from their race but there is a pattern, and I don't want to name names of drivers who just don't behave like Grand Prix drivers, respecting people who are better drivers and in better cars.

It looked fast, it looked exciting and it seemed like the wave of the future. I wanted to keep my boat under 70 feet so it would be easier to handle.

It was really exciting. But I really only got about three shots, maybe. ... We boxed out, and it looked exciting but they were really there for me.

The drivers and the teams need to work things out. We understand that this is a high-emotion sport. It's pretty clear we're going to take this out of the drivers' hands and put it into our hands.

NASCAR needs to control the drivers, not control the rules. If they want to stop bump drafting, then take the drivers that are screwing up out back -- the way they used to do things around here.

The possibility of playing Birmingham in the next round is an exciting proposition for fans in the midlands - but I've not looked too far ahead, because we've got to get past Reading first. I am confident we can do a job in the replay, and I hope the team will see things through.

As a team, our defense continued to shine and was even more exciting than it was last fall. Our new serve-receive system went very well and we are looking for it to continue to improve. We had a handful of moments that we looked extremely impressive and were firing on all cylinders. It was very exciting.

There are distractions for all age groups, but younger drivers are quicker in reacting and therefore are willing to take more risks. Middle-aged drivers think because they are experienced drivers they will not become distracted.

Elderly drivers, despite the popular driver notion, are not the big risk. Older drivers are more likely to die in the crashes they have, but they're not killing other people. Teen drivers are.

This is the kids' place. ... When you're in the military, you don't always get to do things you'd like to do. If we did, it would be short term because you'd have to pick up and move. It's about giving back and doing some of the things we might have wanted to do in our professional lives. It's incredibly exciting. Every day is exciting with this program.

Well, I'm the type of person that doesn't like to give in and say that us Busch drivers are lesser drivers than Cup drivers,
