I'm not worried about the long time off between games. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying. It will be written about how the long time off will affect us. Some teams will be already gone from the tournament by the time we play. We've been there before. We don't have time to worry about it hurting us.

The park is just so beautiful with everything covered with snow. This is really the first time all winter that the ground has been completely covered, for more than a day or two.

Even if we had not been able to lay this extra thick, ready to play turf, the games scheduled this weekend would be going ahead as the surface is not dangerous. What has happened is that we knew we had a problem with the grass when it was covered up for too long.

We were out here for six months covered in drywall dust, covered in paint, covered in plaster. We put in our blood, sweat and tears.

Four teams in seven days? Wow. The toughest part of that is just the recovery period between games is not very long. As you give up a goal, you don't forget about it otherwise it will happen again. At the same time, you don't let it get to you. I guess it's the same thing when you have a lot of games in a row. If you lose one of those games, you can't dwell on it.

But the one advantage Montreal does have is they can still watch (Saturday games) on another network, where the Ottawa games aren't covered in the French language.

You look at your team, and sometimes you might have a weakness here or there, or you might make a mistake here or there, and it gets covered up by somebody else. This time, it didn't get covered up. Again, we'll go in, we'll make the corrections, and the special teams unit will be better.

The new rules take effect essentially as soon as we can notify the associations by way of a letter. It's not going to take a long time. It applies to all competitions throughout the world at any level. All matches of all types are covered.

In Philadelphia, they said three-quarters of the world is covered by water and the other quarter is covered by Garry Maddox. Every time you looked up, [Sullivan] was in the gap catching a ball, running into a wall, he was on the bases, scoring runs and doing things he's capable of doing when he plays within his skills.

It's been a while. It's been a long time coming. I don't know if at the beginning of the season we knew we'd get that. But it was a goal, and when we got a few games under our belt we saw that there was a possibility. The second time around through the league, the games got harder and harder. But the kids came through.

As long as the race hills are covered, we're all set. I know they've been working hard. And it's not a problem as long as they can get it in somehow.

Wow, it's hard to imagine coaching 1,000 games, but that does mean I have been in it for a long time. It is very special to have coached so many games and to have been blessed to do so.

It's terrible. It's been a long time since we've won a game and to be honest it's been a long time since we deserved to win a game. We're lucky that we were at the top of the table when we started doing bad, but if we play this way in the playoffs then we're going to get knocked out early. We just need to pick it up, get back to what we were doing and try to win some games.

That's one of the better games and more complete games we've played in a long time.
