We thought we had a shot at him. But it's tough to get those South Florida guys away from Miami.

There is bipartisan support for immigration reform in South Florida, including Gov. Jeb Bush, including the legislature, including our mayor in Miami. We in South Florida don't have to turn people's minds around.

Texas and California really put out a ton of guys. Florida is right there. It is just looking for that consistency. Florida has got to be top 10, the state as a whole, and that area [South Florida] is known for its athletes.

They hit tough shot after tough shot after tough shot. We had guys guarding them. We switched different guys on them, but they were just right there on. It wasn't as if the shots were uncontested.

It should be noted that Miami and south Florida continue to be our first choice. But the reality is we don't have a deal there because our lease expires after 2010.

It looked like it was Florida, Florida State and maybe Oklahoma. In the background was Penn State. And I remember thinking he's going to head south. It's good to get a win. It's good for us to bounce back after losing a tough match Friday [against Miami]. It shows how tough our team is to come back out here and play a tough Florida State team.
