en I'm feeling stronger every day, but I wouldn't have been ready to pitch. I still think it was the right decision, but it is tough not to be competing for my country.

If they threw him away, he went with the pitch. If they came in, he pulled it down the line. He did a great job in being selective up there and going with pitches.

en The coaches told me I probably wouldn't get anything to swing at but to be ready to jump on it if I did. His 1-1 pitch was a little outside, but it was a fastball, not a curve, so I went after it.
