Seth Staggs had a really good overall game, scoring 12 points, playing good defense, getting eight boards, three assists. Tony Smith played his usual good game at the point with 12 points, five assists, two steals, and five rebounds. We spread the ball nicely. We had four guys between nine and 19 points.

If you thought you were going good, you might look at the phone. You get 20 points and 10 rebounds, or 15 points and 10 assists, you expect the phone to ring and an NBA team to say they need you immediately.

Time will tell. Different team. Different makeup. Different setting. Some things you come out of the [Marshall] game feeling good about. I felt good that we were able to run the football. Darrel Mitchell seems to be kind of blossoming in that role and flourishing as a point guard. His assist-to-turnover ratio is quite good (4.6 assists to 2.9 turnovers a game). He defends well. He's really scoring the ball well for us. He's probably the key to our team. He's extremely consistent at what he does.
