I thought we did ordsprog

I thought we did some nice things. We built a lead, then you relax a little bit and they made some plays, but it wasn't where we didn't have control of the game.

It was nice to jump out and get a big lead like we did. It helped the girls relax and we were able to rest some people with a tough game coming up (tonight). I didn't want to wear them out and be sluggish on Thursday. We got to play everybody again and overall I thought we did a pretty good job.

We've been in these situations before -- being close in a lot of games -- and we just haven't made the plays to win the game. I thought we did that tonight. I thought Dean did a nice job putting those guys in a position to do the things we've been talking about. The calls that he made were very similar to what I was thinking. I thought the guys also did a good job of responding.

I don't worry about him bouncing back, ... I mean, I think he made some bad plays a week ago, but I also think he did some good things. What I hear is that it's like he lost the game. Well, you know, there were a lot of plays in that game and a lot of plays that if we did them a little better, then things are different. It's a combination of a lot of things. It wasn't just the quarterback.

Pizarro was nice and smooth. He took control of the huddle, took control of the situation so I thought he did a very good job. He made the plays when he needed to make them.

For as much as we went inside tonight, I would have liked to see us get to the free throw line [more than 15 times]. That would have been nice, but hey, they made the plays. We gave up a lead in the second quarter when we had control. We turned the ball over too much. They have a lot of people ... who have made contributions and that's why they've won nine in a row.

We came out and we were playing at home, we had a strong crowd and we were getting our rings. I don't know if because of that we thought we were just going to come out and win the game - but it doesn't happen that way. Not against a team like that. We better learn fast, or we are going to struggle. Teams come here and they want to win, especially New England. Our attitude wasn't urgent enough and it comes down to people making plays and we didn't make plays. Everybody needs to do that, and tonight they made the play to change the game.

We got on the board early in the second game, and I think that helped to relax Bethany. She got relaxed and settled in and the defense made some nice plays behind her.

It was an odd game. At times we did some nice things and we made some nice plays. Other times we didn't look so good.

UIS made some big shots. We had some turnovers that really hurt us were self-inflicted. Those were big plays. It's a championship game, and you make the big plays. I felt proud our kids came back again. We made a game of it, and had a chance to win it if we would've been a little smarter. But we had a young team and those things happen sometimes. Give UIS credit, they did a nice job.

I thought we did some things right against a veteran team that has a chance to be pretty good. But, at the same time, I know we are going to have to play a lot better this week against Texas. Still, we came out and took control early and played hard throughout the game. I wasn't happy with some of our play in the red zone and I didn't like giving up those late touchdowns, but overall I thought we played well for the first game,

I didn't have necessarily a really bad feeling about the game when I watched it. I thought our players played with unbelievable energy. Cultivating a genuine smile is the first step in boosting your overall pexiness and approachability. Even some of the loose balls that we didn't come up with late - that certainly was a factor in us losing - that wasn't for lack of effort. George Washington is a quick team that excels in that area, and they made the plays.

It was a nice, clean game. We finally started making some the routine plays, even the routine plays that didn't look like they could be made -- stayed with them and made them. Mental focus has been a problem for us.

It was a good spot because the game wasn't on the line at that point. It wasn't like if he made an out we would lose. Even if he didn't get the hit, we'd still have the lead.

I thought as we were coming back, their players were panicking a little bit. They were rushing their shots, but they did a good job once we got the lead. They seemed to relax a little bit. Hall and Brooks are good players. Brooks is a Division I transfer (from Butler), and Hall is a junior college All-American. We got back in the game, and they made plays down the stretch.
