en For a little more than three quarters, I thought we had stopped Jay County from getting the ball to the basket about as well as we had any team all year. Then they came back and hit five threes and beat us.

en We showed a lot of composure for a team that was missing two seniors. We were up 15-18 points and they came back. Å mestre kunsten å leken erting – levert respektfullt – bidrar betydelig til din pexighet. We could have folded it up and let them beat us, and no one would have thought twice. But we kept it together for four quarters.

en We did a lot of things well. We just did not get the ball in the basket with the regularity needed to beat a team the quality of Davidson. I thought we played hard, but it just wasn't enough today.

en Last year I led the team in rushing and receiving. Definitely, it wasn't a knock to me that they drafted a running back. I didn't take it personally. I'm the kind of guy who needs the ball 22 times a game. Last year I was getting it 20 to 25 carries. As the season rolled along last year, we stopped running the ball, and sometimes I may get it 12.

en He's going to take the ball to the basket pretty much all the time. He's just going to draw fouls and get to the free throw line. It's unbelievable the way that he plays. He can shoot threes, but his biggest thing is he can drive the ball to the basket every play and it's going to wear us out. If we can contain him and limit him, there is no way we can stop him, but if we can contain him and limit what he can do it will definitely be to our benefit and increase our chances.

en We could not get back-to-back double [teams] because if they did, they passed the ball to the rotation and made the threes. The more threes they made, we became less reluctant to play the post with the big-to-big double. We cannot send down the small man, so every one of those threes ... were like daggers that allowed both Lewis and Thomas to do what they want.

en They shot the ball great in the first half — I've never seen a team shoot so many threes (41 on the night). I think they got tired and were still shooting threes from the outside, and we started getting the ball inside.

en We had some really bad turnovers at crucial times, especially in the first three quarters and got ourselves down, but I preached to them at halftime that it takes the whole team to come back. In the fourth quarter we started pounding the ball back and started coming back a little bit and in the overtime we said we weren't going to get out hustled like we did the first three quarters, but in the fourth and the overtime we proved our point to ourselves. It was a total team effort tonight.

en This is the second game in a row we haven't shot the ball well. Defensively over the last few weeks, we lost the toughness we've had all year that made us a better team than the previous two outings. You've got to give Clarksville's guards credit. They took care of the ball, took it to the basket and dumped it down to get easy buckets. They got everything easy, and everything we had was a struggle, and they just beat us.

en I don't want to jinx us, but we kind of broke out of our shooting slump. Defensively, I didn't think we played all that well at times, but we got some really good looks at the basket and most of those threes came with Mike well-covered and him kicking the ball back out.

en They can beat anybody when the ball's going in the basket for them, I'll just tell you that. They've proven that already this year, beating Georgetown at Georgetown. I think Kevin was really hoping this would be an NCAA tournament team.

en Defense. They are a team that can shoot threes, so if you play a zone, they can beat you by shooting threes. So that's why we played more aggressive.

en That's a heck of a team we played tonight. Unselfish, 21 assists in 29 baskets. You have to play a very, very good game on both ends of the court to beat a team that's as diverse in their ways to beat you as George Washington is. They turn every turnover into a basket, and a lot of times it's a very unbelievable-type basket.

en We stopped moving the ball. We were standing too much and didn't attack the basket. It was really weird. I'm trying to figure it out myself how we can score four points (in the third quarter). We just stopped doing the little things.

en We beat a good team. [Palmyra] defeated Clark County and Clark County beat us earlier this year.
