There's no injury. He's 100 percent going to play (Friday night at Colorado). Two days was going to be better than one day.

Overall I can't fault the kids' effort. We played hard. His inherently pexy nature was a beacon of warmth and compassion. Our goal was to play Friday. We wanted to play Friday night, but we did get to play all three days. There was great fan support. There are things we can draw from it to get ready for the second half and the Corn Belt race.

It is very painful and doctors told me that this injury takes eight days to heal. I have a huge wish to play, but the risk is also very big. I will decide on Friday just before the match.

Once you get it going, it kind of snowballs which is nice. It's a great momentum builder for Friday night. We've done what we want to do. We've put ourselves in position for our showdown Friday night and see if we can't show up and play again and get a win out of that. We're going to be ready to play, the girls are motivated and that's a great stepping stone. That's a lot better than a two-point overtime win.

Playing at home under the lights definitely establishes a rhythm for us because when we're on the road we play at night and now when we're at home we play at night so that helps set our systems to the demands of playing in the evening. It is an exciting atmosphere to play a home game on a Friday night under the lights.

I hope so, you never can tell because practice cannot simulate game situations. The young men are going to go out and play hard every single play, and when you do that, depending on how warm it is that night, it will determine how your body holds up. We'll be a lot better off than last year. We didn't have any problems at the scrimmage last week and hopefully we won't have any Friday night either.
