[Wright is] just a ordsprog

en [Wright is] just a different person now, ... You come into Miami as an 18-year-old and you get a little wide-eyed, like 'Holy crap, what's going on here?' Now, you kind of get through a couple years, it's not so much of a big deal anymore. Now it's his time, the pressure's off a little bit, he understands what he's got to do. You have to still go out there, make the right decisions and make the plays.

en Football is a big deal at Miami. They play a tremendous schedule. If you're taking a look at somebody -- if he can play at Miami and be that kind of a guy and a leader there, then chances are he's going to be successful up here, too.

en I'm not playing baseball anymore after this. The game isn't fun anymore. I'm tired of all the crap going on. I want to play this year, hopefully win, and once the season is over, go home and be with my family. Maybe then everybody can just forget about me.

en It's always interesting to remember them their first couple days in the gym as wide-eyed freshman, who were really trying to figure out what was going on, what to do. And four or five years later, they're leaders of the team.

en You say this with baseball all the time - not to play opposition, play the game. That's the key for us. Miami is kind of out of the equation. It's us. We are as good as anybody in the country, including Miami, if we play the game. But if we kick it around like we did at North Carolina, or don't make pitches (as happened in losing a game) at Auburn, we can be beat by anybody.

en There's always pressure on everyone. It doesn't matter if you're trying to get into the top 35 in points or just trying to make the race or make the top 10, or if you're leading the points and trying to win a championship. There's extreme pressure throughout the field. You might be in a position where you don't know if you have a ride next year, you might not have a sponsor. There's always pressure on all of us.
