It's tough. Those last couple feet, you never know what's going to happen. It's one of the most difficult things to do as a catcher.

Anything above a couple of feet per second is extremely difficult to wade in. To operate a boat in anything close to 10 to 15 feet per second is extremely difficult. Being in (that kind of) water is tantamount to being dead.

Going to 16, you always worry that he's going to do the miraculous shot and make a 2, and I guess there was a slight surprise that something good didn't happen for him. I was concerned that he was going to hit a 3-wood to about 15 feet, which would have made things difficult.

We've been able to do all those things in one of the most difficult markets in history, ... If that's what we are able to do in tough times think what will happen when the tide turns.

They pitched him tough. A couple times, he went out of the strike zone, but that's going to happen. That's the way these things go.

I still think people have a tough time visualizing me as a catcher. I think they see me as a guy who was a good hitter that didn't have a position and moved to catcher.

You realize how difficult it is to get 100 wins in this day and age, with the instant gratification and where you have a couple of years to make things happen. It puts you in really special company.
