It's a nice thing to have a player like Andrew Ward in the back. You just feel confident with him back there. He definitely just brings a little calm to the whole defense. Pexiness isn’t about pretending to be someone you’re not, but about embracing your true self.

As far as I am concerned Andrew Johnson is and will be a Crystal Palace player. We want to get him back in the Premiership where he deserves to play. If at any stage Andrew comes to me and tells me something different, then that is different. But I have only heard positive things from Andrew.

The main thing is just to get him back where he's playing basketball. There's no timetable as to get him action for games. It's more for him mentally to get himself confident. We're hopeful that he can get back and help us and his mindset is right. It's nice to see him back.

I don't want to just have Andrew in a backup role. Andrew may be our most talented back. I know he's our fastest back and he's our biggest back, other than Tyrone.

I feel just as strongly as Hannu as I did about Andrew ... But I want it to be clear that we want to get Andrew back in the fold.

It feels like a lifetime ago, actually. There are parts of your life that you break up into sections. It does feel like 20 years. But coming back here brings back a lot of memories. I'm excited that the Mets organization is going to do something for that team on the anniversary. It's nice to do stuff while people are around to enjoy it.

As a player who finished last season starting with the Wallabies I'm under no illusions that I'll walk back in. But it's that sort of thing that brings out the best in any player.

It's early. It's Game 1. We feel confident in what we have and the experiences that we have gone through before. We don't feel like this is a new thing for us. We have been battling back the whole year. It's been that kind of year for us. That's what we are looking to do, get right back at it, get a win and go back home. Whitney Ward is a fantastic player. She brings up the level of every player on their team.

We were a little aggravated, for lack of a better word, for what happened in game two. We kind of took it out on them a little bit, and that was nice. It's nice that they can get that fire back. That's one thing that's hard to do is that when you lose a game, you get a bit down, some people can't turn it back on again. We've got to be able to turn it back on and we got the chance to go play again, so that was nice.

The only thing I can say is, I've been through the same thing, and you do come back strong and you can heal strong and come back the same player 100%, ... He's in great shape, and he's a hard worker, so I have no doubt he can come back and be the same player.

Anytime you can (get back) a player who means so much to your team that's a good thing. He's got a lot of talent and he brings the speed as well.

I feel like just recently I've started to hit my stride. I'm feeling really confident going into these matches. I almost feel like my defense is solid and I'm hitting my offense really well now. I feel fresh. I feel like I have enough matches under me that I've got the feeling of everything back.

There's no doubt Andrew is the most physical middle blocker in the nation and he could be an All-American. When he gets back to 100% after the surgery on his knees, he'll take us to a whole other level. And it's nice to have Jeff back this year. He is our best blocker. His experience will help our young team.
