en We got ourselves in a hole and the game came down to the last at-bat. The girls did a great job of coming back, battling and putting themselves in a position to win the game. We just couldn't get over the hump.

en I take my hat off to the guys. Of course we're disappointed, but we can also be very proud of the way we came back into that match. Fiji were awesome in the first half and the boys showed real fight to get back into the game and take it into extra time.

en It's embarrassing, and we're a team that takes pride in our defense and is fighting for first place and a playoff spot. To come in with a performance like that, especially after battling back and scoring late in the first and tying it up, and battling back a couple times in the second, all in all is definitely a low point in the season.

en He wants to skate tomorrow and get back on the ice, just see how it responds. It's a deep bone bruise and you've just got to go day to day on it. We're hoping if he doesn't play the first two (games), which are back to back, he'll be all right for Vancouver.

en You're never happy with a tie; you're trying to win. The reality is we have to come back and play tomorrow, and whatever the outcome tomorrow is, we have to come back and play again.

en We're battling, we're just not getting over the hump. We just need to get that big hit or make that big play.
