Experienced sevens players like Fabian Juries, our first choice winger and Jaco Pretorius our defender are all very keen to be and are determined to have another go at winning a Commonwealth medal.

Consistency will hold the key in Melbourne. It is with this in mind that we have stuck to our current squad despite the fact that some of the other teams have strengthened their ranks will full internationals. We definitely have the skill, capability and confidence to be amongst the contenders for a medal the Games.

I'm very proud of the guys. We lost our last pool game against Argentina and the way the guys fought back today and to force sudden death showed real commitment from the players.

I take my hat off to the guys. Of course we're disappointed, but we can also be very proud of the way we came back into that match. Fiji were awesome in the first half and the boys showed real fight to get back into the game and take it into extra time.

We have the potential to develop into a really good side and have managed to put ourselves into contention for most of the time. However, we must learn to be far more decisive and to close the door on the opposition when we have the initiative. The Hong Kong Sevens is a massive stage for any Sevens player and our guys will be highly motivated to make an impact.

We definitely have the skill, capability and confidence to be amongst the contenders for a medal the Games.

We did not really expect that China would give us any problems. The guys have done well, but the tournament is only won on Sunday.
