I kinda hit the panic button a little. My main focus was just put the barrel on the ball. I guess during the game a switch went on. But I was shagging balls and felt delusional. I didn't know where I was at.

I've been that kid shagging balls in the dugout when I didn't even know what the game was. I've learned a lot from my dad, but also just being around the game.

It's been two games. We hit a couple in the first game, but we didn't get any in the second one. So I don't know that we're going to push a panic button yet.

We have to get the turnovers under control. But it is more than just Tyler -- our receivers have to work back to some balls, our line has to protect a little better. But if we can cut down on turnovers against Nebraska we will have a chance. There are a lot of nuances about the college game that I have to learn as well. It's only two games so it is too early to press the panic button just yet.

You have to tip your cap to Mercy. I thought when they got down nine, they didn't panic. It would have been easy for some teams to panic, but I know a coach Kohs team doesn't panic. They just fought back and beat us to a couple loose balls to make a difference.

All along I felt he would be fine. I didn't want to push the panic button because I speak to him every day and know how he feels. Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo world. I had no doubt. It was just good to see him out there and getting his work in. He got through with flying colors, which is good.

We talked about this all week and I felt like I let Duque down. I'm not trying to hurt my pitcher's feelings, but we had a plan before the game starts. Duque didn't throw the ball the way we like him to throw the ball. Most of the balls that got hit were hit hard. We thought he was going to give me four, five, six innings to get McCarthy ready to go. Our plans didn't work.

The great pass receiver is going to catch his balls and he's going to gain his yards. You just hope he's not too much of a disruption in the game. And then don't push the panic button when he does catch a pass. You've got to tackle him. Don't let him run all over the place. Team defense is huge when you're playing against a great player.

She hit those two threes back-to-back. Again, we hit the panic button and we didn't have to. We hung close. It was a six-point game until the end when we had to foul them.

I've done it in batting practice, shagging and chasing down balls. I don't think it's that hard. Fly ball, you catch it. Base hit, field it and throw. There's no problem. I've got a good arm. I can play there. If not the outfield, I have no chance to make the team. The games will start and I'll do my job.

I guess I just have to hit the ball somewhere else. I had an opportunity hit some balls to score some runners tonight and I didn't do the job.

He considered it playing, and he loved it. There was no time limit. Early in the morning, late at night, he was ready. As the other kids started getting into it, he'd have them shagging balls as he was hitting them. Girls, guys, it didn't matter.

You get to throw pitches. That's what I needed to do - get in a game. I've said all along that things will work themselves out. I know where I'll be. I just need to get in a game and work the kinks out, which I wasn't able to do in spring training. I felt good, kept the ball down and got ground balls. Even the base hit was a ground ball. It just hit a boulder and took a bad hop. I felt good.

Going into the Rutland game, they know what's at stake. I'm not going to push the panic button.
