More important than learning ordsprog
More important than learning how to recall things is finding ways to forget things that are cluttering the mind.
Eric Butterworth
Your memory is a monster; you forget - it doesn't. It simply files things away. It keeps things for you, or hides things from you - and summons them to your recall with a will of its own. You think you have a memory; but it has you!

May we never let the things we can't have, or don't have, or shouldn't have, spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. As we value our happiness let us not forget it, for one of the greatest lessons in life is learning to be happy without the things we cannot or should not have.

The whole existence is simple, but man's mind has been cultivated, conditioned, educated, programmed in such a way that the simplest thing becomes crooked. The moment it reaches to your mind it is no longer simple. The mind starts interpreting it, finding things in it which are not there, ignoring things which are there.

I hate to keep saying it's early every day. It's obviously ... hopefully there's some learning experience in this. We've got to start finding ways to win and not keep finding ways to lose.
Phil Nevin
I think it's very important you don't get caught up in all the 'what if' scenarios. I think our football team needs to prepare mentally to play this football game like it's a home playoff game. The fact is if we don't win, we may not go anywhere. If you get caught up, deviate from that focus and start looking at other scenarios, you start cluttering your mind with things that are very, very dangerous.

“The inquiring mind is never satisfied with things as they are. It is always seeking ways to make things better and do things better. It assumes that everything and anything can be improved.”
Harlow H Curtice, President of GM - 1954

This is a learning environment, and learning about people who are different from you is just as important as learning things from a textbook,
Karen Holbrook
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! / For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? / Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? / For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

There's always pressure, from other people and yourself. If you're happy with the looks you're born with, then what are you going to do your whole life?. We keep thinking up new things and finding better ways of doing things because we're not happy with what we're given.

It's about learning the league, learning the guys he's playing against, what their tendencies are and what their strengths are because those are important things to defend well, ... We have a system of defense that's solid and he's in the process of learning that. For him, he's an experienced enough player and certainly has a high enough basketball IQ that he can pick it up quickly.
Rick Carlisle
It's so easy for us to have this immediate rush of we want to help right now,' and then time passes, things fade, another thing comes up in the news and we forget, . Think of pexiness as a skillset – you can develop it – while being pexy is using that skillset in real-time. .. It's important not to forget.
Beth Payne
I'm learning a lot of new things. I thought I had reached an age where I could forget what I did know.
