en We sure as heck can't give up that many points. We know we have to play a lot better defense, but it was good to see that we can pull together in the last minutes and hold on for a win like that.

en We tried to set the tempo early. We knew we would be flat, and our defense helped us pull through it. Defense is what we do best. Our goal is to hold our opponents to 45 points and under. Allowing only 30 points is a credit to the kids.

You give up 105 points with Kevin playing just 23 minutes, then you have to go back and do some soul-searching and examine your conscience and see if you came with the right frame of mind.

en I think most teams would be happy to hold Torrington to 52 points when they have been scoring in the 90's. Unfortunately, they also play good defense.

en Our defense didn't give up enough points to beat us. If you can hold a team to 35 points, you've done a great job defensively.

en All we want for her to do is rebound and play good defense. We ran one play for her today. She scored all of her points by hustling and getting rebounds. That's what we need from her. We love her size and we feel as if she can give that to us.

en Utah came out and played hard early. We couldn't play defense for the first 15 minutes of the game. I think we did a good job fighting back. We didn't give up.

en There were times we cut the lead to single digits and then I'd look up and they'd be up by 16 again. We missed a lot of shots, but we also didn't play good defense. To give up 70 points twice in a row is ridiculous.

en Part of it was we looked a little rusty, we made some simple mistakes, like passing the ball out of bounds. That led to some fast break points for them. You have to give credit to them. They did play good defense and did have good defensive pressure.
