It was a super trip all the way around. He broke so well, and put himself in perfect position. I felt comfortable every step of the way. I believe we are well prepared for this competition. We are excited that we will get to take some of our own horses to ride. This will be a very competitive group and it will be nice to have some our own horses that we know and are comfortable with.

It's a good mix of horses: speed horses, come-from-behind horses. It looks like it will be a nice race. I just hope [Giacomo] gets the trip he needs and that's about it.

The good part is that it was broke up by getting home for a day before Toronto, and now home for a few more days. It's now been broken down to a one-game trip, so it's a lot easier to digest.

I think we're in a better position going longer. Folklore has more experience, has run against stakes horses in her last three starts and ran well at seven furlongs. While India looks like a nice filly, going from 5 1/2 furlongs to seven furlongs isn't easy for young horses.

I've never felt better. I feel probably got better as the game went on. Yesterday I was really happy with the way it came out, plenty of energy, even when the game finished. It was a long day in the field but I still had a lot left in the tank.

Sometimes that was the easy part; getting my mind off of the situation, ... The hard part was going home. Once I get out of school and practice, I go home and watch the news.

The work was fine. He broke off nice and easy and then picked it up and cruised on home. Alex was happy with the work. He never looks like he is doing anything because he does it so easy.

That was a seven-game road trip and it really felt like two weeks. It's just nice to be home.

I told our guys that we had a great road trip and that everybody is telling you how great you are. The reality is, we have 35 games left and we have to take care of business. It was scary. The way I was hit, a lot of things go through your mind. I couldn't feel anything at first when I was getting up. So I didn't know if it was broke or not. Getting hit from the back is pretty tough, but it's part of the game. The game's played hard.
