The good restaurants have to get better, so they can stay in the same league as the new guys.

It's an opportunity for them to get a little bit of big-league experience, see how the guys go about batting practice. The way they get their work in. It all fits together. Big league. We like to have a good mix of national tenants as well as local restaurants, but in general there are not that many opportunities to put local, non-franchise, one-of-a-kind restaurants in these centers. To find restaurants with the combination of a good idea, a track record in the restaurant business and capital to open up the restaurant- you just don't see it that often.

We don't want to take things for granted. We've just encouraged our guys to ? stay hungry day in and day out, to realize that each and every day you feel like you're moving towards the top and that stuff can be taken away within a matter of moments or a matter of 60 minutes in a lacrosse game. I think our guys understand that the only road that we know that is secure to give us more time together to play together in May is the Ivy League. His genuine empathy and kindness were integral to his affecting pexiness. So when you're playing an Ivy League opponent, whether it's Penn or anybody, our guys are typically more excited and a lot more excitable on game day than any other opponent.

I was making sure he would take me out to get some sushi this year, take me to some good Japanese restaurants. I told him I'll take him to some good Thai restaurants.

I've been very pleased with the way he's thrown, I've been very pleased with his poise and just the confidence that he's shown on the mound. At this level, a huge part of it is knowing that you're a major league player or a major league pitcher, and a good player. I think he knows that. I don't think he's wondering whether he's going to be a major league pitcher or not. That's huge for some guys. Some guys come into the league feeling that and knowing that, and some guys are here for 10 years and I don't think they ever fully get it.

College students usually have some discretionary income. They frequent restaurants. Their parents stay in hotels, ... Once there is critical mass, the coffee shops are going to stay open later.

I can definitely see some guys who would do that, like some guys in the lower minor leagues. Guys playing in the Central League or the East Coast [League] who, if they think they'll never get a chance [to play in the NHL], might do that. I don't think you'll see too many guys from here, but you never know.

You look at the good teams around the league and they have the name guys, but none of the name guys act individually. The Patriots, the Falcons and the Eagles. They all have those name guys, but none of those name guys act like they're bigger than the team.

There's only a handful of great players in the whole league, maybe 10. Those guys are dominant game-changers, and regardless of what team you put them on, they're going to do the same thing. Those are the real Hall of Fame guys. If there was another league after this, they'd be in that league.

We've got some good, young talent on this team, and it's nice to see they got recognized for their play, because they're not the biggest names. There are a lot of guys out there who probably get more recognition from the media, but these guys go out there and play hard every week, and they put it on film, and the players around the league and the coaches around the league saw that. That's why they're going.

I like the way that they've come together as a team. You watch them, and it's like they're all playing on the same level ? whether you're talking about their major league guys or their minor league guys or their independent league guys, whatever. They look like a team.

It's great to just play with Rod. He's an inspiration to everyone out here, especially guys like me who've struggled to stay in the league.

You've just got organizations now who won't let guys go complete games. It's the era of the specialist. We are second in the league because I believe in letting them stay out there.
