Start with familiar fairy tales or Bible stories or old folk tales or ancient myths and legends. You can tell them straight, or you can add your own twists. If it's a story kids already know, they'll try to correct you if you stray, but that's part of the fun. You can make each story your own.

Last week in all media classes, we read Chinese folk tales and I did a presentation on China.

The idea that CNIGA should be drafting or crafting anything that binds other tribes in terms of compact negotiations is pretty transparent to me. It's the big tribes that don't want other tribes to get compacts. They want to control that process.

The literary community is very rich. The Haitian culture stands out as unique, especially the literature. The Creole language also lends a flavor all its own, even in English, and the African tradition gives the literature a lot of folk tales and proverbs.

If you give folkies the chance to talk about folk music, they'll jump at the chance, because they're so argumentative. They never shut up. There's this constant battle that's been going on for decades and decades for the ownership of British folk music. The arguments seem to be an integral part of it. Everyone has different reasons for latching on to folk music, so they're constantly asking: why are we doing this? Why is this important?

The New Tribes are leaving Venezuela. This is an irreversible decision that I have made, ... We don't want the New Tribes here. Enough colonialism!

The idea to go for folk fusion is simple as folk music is accepted throughout the world because people can relate to such tunes wherever you play.
