Second chances hurt us. They got a couple of second chance rebounds on us and that was the difference in us making the plays at the end.

They came out and got three quick baskets on us. But still I think the turning point was when it was about 45-41 and we had a couple of chances at some rebounds down there - had it in our hands a couple of times - and just couldn't bring it in. I thought that was the big difference in the game right there.

They were a load for us. They made plays when they had to make plays. Their guys came through. We needed a couple stops here, we needed a couple rebounds there.

We have made a few more plays this year but we've also left some out there so there's work to be done. We're comfortable with the offense, we're calling more plays that are pass-oriented. The easiest way is to score points, but when you don't do that, there are other things you can do. Hustle plays like the tip-in or offensive rebounds on missed free throws, plays like that can make a difference, and they did for us this afternoon.

We started out strong at the beginning of this year then went on a string of bad runs starting with Infineon. That really hurt us in the points. But Bob (Osborne, crew chief) and the entire team held their heads up and kept fighting and together we got back into the 'Chase'. Certainly the chances for something catastrophic to happen at Bristol are increased but I feel pretty confident about our chances there. If we can come away with a solid finish there, I think we have a good chance at making the 'Chase'.

There are a lot of ways to win basketball games, and obviously the easiest way is to score points. But when you don't do that, there are other things that you can do -- hustle plays like the tip-in or the rebounds on the free throws. Those plays can make a difference and they obviously did this afternoon.

He plays hard, he plays all-out. When you play like that, you've got a chance to get hurt. If he takes care of himself, he's got a chance to stay healthy, too.
