It's probably the right move. Lance Berkman is a great left-handed hitter. They're just looking for an out, and the book says go righty versus righty.

On a double, especially with the fastest guy in the league and maybe the fastest guy on earth, you're feeling pretty good. With nobody out, you know you're going to be in scoring position, and your worst case is Willy standing with nobody out on third and Lance Berkman at-bat.

They will need to upgrade the search capabilities to be more personal, targeted and better. An area of technology they should work on is context of search. So if you type in the world 'Polish' and you're looking for Polish ancestry, you won't get results for car polish.

What I saw during the postseason, and we talked with Lou Piniella about this on the air, is what power pitching can do for you. The Astros got hits and scratched out runs and had some Minute Maid Park home runs by (Lance) Berkman and Jason Lane, but the difference (in the series) to me is what power pitching can do in October.

This is a transition year, not in terms of being competitive but in going from being Lance's team to being a team without Lance. The goals will remain unchanged. Even without Lance, when I look at the guys here, we have a lot of good bike riders.

The statements made by the Polish head of state concerning relations with Russia have not gone unnoticed. One has to agree with the Polish president in stating the importance of these ties and with his desire for their improvement in every way. We also share the hope expressed in Warsaw that Russian-Polish relations may develop in a positive way on the basis of pragmatism and respect for each other's interests in the year ahead.
