With this outlook and our healthy first-quarter performance, we feel confident in maintaining our earnings estimate of $11.25 per diluted share for 2006.

The problem with the economy right now is insufficient demand, not supply. The meat and potatoes of this plan is supply-side medicine for a demand-side problem.

These companies are making long-term bets on the continued strength of the economy and visitation in Las Vegas. I don't think anybody knows for! sure what the total capacity will be in 2010 and what the demand will be four to five years from now to support the increase in supply. We only know about a portion of the potential supply out there.

Long-term though, we continue to see a positive outlook, with mine supply growth and strong demand.

Overall, we expect supply/demand balances to remain tight in 2006 with prices continuing to track above the long-term trend.

Pharmacia reported earnings growth of 19 percent, but the pharmaceutical side was up more than 20 percent by itself, so that's the sustainable long-term piece when they spin off agriculture.

There's no fear of supply shortage whatsoever. There's nothing out there giving the slightest hint that the supply and demand balance could tighten in the near term.

We recognize we could be dead wrong. But when we look at the fundamentals of supply and demand, we see an awful lot that points to the supply side.

Demand is outstripping supply and this is the bullet point of the problem. The U.S. refinery snags are adding fuel to the flames. Certainly, in the long term, prices will head higher.
