It is money we weren't entitled to or are not entitled to. It is a lack of knowing where you are at and being able to make prudent financial decisions that is costly. You end up running a 55-cent referendum, when what you needed was maybe a 15-cent referendum because your information is flawed.

It takes us to a level that is scary. That means we have to live with a referendum passing, or we frankly die as a school district. We will be out of money.

If Colorado voters are so silly to reject Referendum C and Referendum D, I'm going to move to another state.

The public said to make the cuts, do whatever you have to do but don't ask us for more money right now. So the referendum failed.

This constitutional referendum and whether it is supported by the Sunnis to a large degree, I think, is something that we just have to watch to see how that comes out. So until we're done with this political process here, with the referendum and the elections in December, I think it's too soon to tell.
