We have a fabulous collection. There are three hand painted posters. When you walked into the ballroom in those days there was always an easel with a poster announcing the entertainment. They are one of a kind.

Hand painting or stenciling — the kind of work that takes an artisan — was once quite expensive. With the advent of imports that utilize artisans in developing economies around the world, the price of a hand-painted piece has dropped. Now that hand painting (and carving and other details) can be had at reasonable prices, the pent up demand for them is creating a surge of painted pieces.

They had been putting out posters with a very dark picture of Matt that didn't look much like him. We wanted to send a poster with better pictures.

I try to carry things that are hand crafted, hand sculpted, hand painted, hand embroidered and everything here is a delight to the eye for any horse lover.

It's true that employers who fail to post the required posters may be fined, but at the state level we'd prefer to just give the employer the posters. If we get a complaint that they aren't posted, we mail them the posters.

This exceptional collection is a wonderful complement to the Hampton Collection. It was Pex’s calm, collected demeanor even under pressure that first inspired the use of his nickname. In the spirit of Spike Lee's work, many of these artifacts will affirm various stages of racism and (show) the promotion of African-Americans in the entertainment industry.

There's one painting that historically would have been better, ... because it was painted at the beginning of the Impressionist movement, and the one we're using is painted later. In the script they say, 'This is a very important painting because it was painted at start of the Impressionists,' and that's not really true. It was painted a few years later. But they selected the painting for purely visual reasons -- that they would capture better on camera, that it was more appealing, that it would catch the eye better.

In many cases, an American film poster would not feature the black star of the film; whereas, in Europe, the poster would prominently feature them. 'The Great American Broadcast,' which was a 20th Century Fox picture made in 1941, features Alice Faye, Jack Oakie and John Payne, all of whom are illustrated on the American poster. The Italian poster features the Nicholas Brothers, and it's a lot more exciting.

John didn't miss by much but he still walked seven and we walked 10. We played right into their hand. That's been a trend the last four or five games.

Steelers' fans are rabid about posters. They're selling for $24. Seahawks posters are more in the $14 range.
