en Marshall came out and played hard like they always do. I thought we controlled the ball most of the game. They had two good chances at scoring a goal. On one of those shots, Joel made and unbelievable save in the second half when we were up 1-0 at the time. One of their kids hit a shot as Joel was moving to his left. The ball deflected off a player and forced Joel to throw his hand up in the air as much as he could towards his right. He just got a hand on the ball and deflected the ball up over the cross bar. It was one of the best saves I've seen Joel make in his career.

en It was unbelievable the way he pitched. His record should have been better. It took some growing up on the mound, understanding the situation, the pitches and the sequences of attacking the hitter. He is kind of strong-willed. We had to kind of fight through that wall of his to see it our way.

en My main focus this year is to qualify better. Last year I could always race and finish really well. My qualifying position never put me in a spot where I could finish where I felt the team prepared the car to finish.

en They're painting with a pretty wide brush in terms of lacrosse players in general. It's cast a spotlight on the sport but the wrong kind of spotlight.
