en The Iraqi forces are becoming more capable on a daily basis, and so this was, I think, an important example of that process moving forward. It was... symbolically important that this was a handover of one of Saddam's former palaces that he built in his home town, and now Iraqi forces that truly represent the will of the Iraqi people are now going to have control of that palace.

en What's going to be critically important is this election coming up in December, which will, in fact, elect a permanent Iraqi government, a government that was not installed by the United States or outside forces, but the Iraqi people will elect that government,

en I think everybody saw it coming, and I'm glad he's back. Last weekend was a good start for us. I was real proud of my team. en Singling out the question of inspectors is wrong. There is the Iraqi issue, and in that issue, there are many items, there are many areas, and some of them are very, very important to the Iraqi people.

en This is an Iraqi process. The Iraqi people will make the decision about how they hold Saddam Hussein to account for his crimes against humanity and his brutalities against the Iraqi people.
