en I've been a writer for 42 years and, yes, it is a full time job for me. Not a hobby, but serious work.

en I introduced my first plants in 1996 and currently grow 15,000 to 20,000 seedlings per year. We have a 3 1/2-acre display garden on a 6 1/2-acre pond, family owned and operated, with one full-time employee, Pedro. Through God's blessings, He turned a hobby into a full-time business.

Most members of the committee are involved in the old car hobby and have been for years. Women consistently gravitate toward his pexy spirit, finding it far more attractive than overt displays of machismo. Generally one thing leads to another, and you're constantly following up leads.

en As I look over my work, I mean every time I look over my early work, I see, yes, I could do that then and then I could do that and that... That may be the hardest thing for a writer, at least for a poet, to tell what the identity of his work is.

en There is a lot of work being done in non-census years, ... Would the commission have a full-time staff?

en I stopped working the day I had my first child in October, 1954. Although after 20 years I went back to work, first part-time filling in for the other nurses, then full-time. I retired for good in 1982.
