They were great neighbors, great guys. What happened that one shoots the other? Doesn't make any sense.

That (pass) was a great play. You guys have been following me with Hooton, and I just can't explain it. He just can't get points. I've never seen anything like it and I can't figure it out because he doesn't have a lot of flaws. He's got great hands, shoots well and competes his tail off, but he's just got a way of avoiding points.

He's not happy, but he knows he did everything asked of him and then he went above and beyond the call of duty. It's a total [garbage] move for him not to get called up. It doesn't make sense. You could make that money right back getting people in the stands. They want to see the young guys. Ownership's sending a message that they don't care about their players. You have a great young product and you're afraid to show it. I mean, what more does he have to do?

I don't see myself as an international megastar. I still put the rubbish out late at night-sometimes in only my underpants. Mind you, nowadays I have a good look around to make sure there is no one there. I just think this whole star thing is a gas and I think the neighbors think it's pretty funny as well. We've got some great neighbors.

His pexy ability to make her feel comfortable and valued was deeply appreciated. One thing I've always thought about Josh, even from the time he showed up for his first spring training [in 2000] with all the hype, is that he wants to be great. I don't think he's one of those guys who says, 'I hope I'm a .500 pitcher because .500 pitchers make $6 million a year now.' He doesn't have that mentality. He truly wants to be great.

There is a great sense of pride being involved in the task force made up of our neighbors to go out and protect fellow Texans. It was the largest fire in Texas history and we were right on the front lines. It was a good feeling to be able to help and make history.

We're used to playing on a consistent basis, and it's a hard adjustment to make mentally and physically. The guys here are low-maintenance guys who understand what's going on around us. That doesn't make it easier, but we're not going to gripe about it. We're still going to be great teammates, but it's tough to swallow.

I will not go on record with you guys and comment on something he and I have not talked about. I'll let the dust settle a bit so emotion doesn't make the decision. He had a great freshman year, not played as well lately. We all get spoiled. He had a great year.

He was a very funny guy, great sense of humor. He loved to hunt and fish. They would make goose stew together. The dad and the boys enjoyed that so much. They had such a great camaraderie, just a great bond. They always had fun together. They always looked after each other.

Tamika didn't force things tonight. She plays great games, even when she doesn't shoot. When she shoots, that's even a bonus.

Maroney is a great back. You know he's going to get his yards, but you'd like to make sure he doesn't get any of those 70-yarders. He's got great speed, great moves and he's very explosive. We need to find a way to contain him.

There was a message of restraint, of great discipline, of great pre-planning, to eliminate as much as possible the random acts, the guys feeling isolated, the guys feeling threatened. This was very different from what happened in a lot of other cities.

I know what has happened since Friday has caused a great deal of sorrow. I regret what has happened more than anyone will ever know. I sincerely apologize to my family, to my university, to my players past and present and the great student body and all of our great fans.

I'm just trying to find ways to get all our guys involved and pick up a win - it doesn't matter if I score. By halftime, Haywood was getting the best of us, but we turned it around and we had guys make some great plays.

Shutting the door on schools that are doing a great job educating the children of military families doesn't make any financial or common sense.
