"Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. It was a game here. One was an inside-the-park home run in which [left fielder] Lonnie Smith had trouble getting the ball out of the little trough down the left-field line.

He's one of the best left-handed specialists in the league, and I've struggled against him. But he left a ball up, and I was able to get the barrel on it.
