So far his breaking ball is better than last year. He's also throwing his change with confidence. He can throw it for strikes when he's behind in the count. Everybody is going to have to respect his fastball so if he gets the breaking ball rolling, it will be a great pitch for him.

Speaking to Tim, he's very excited about the opportunity to come home. He hasn't played ball in the Virgin Islands since he left for the NBA. He's always wanted in some way to come back home.

He's a threat. He looks like he has as much comfort and confidence hitting the ball to left field as he does pulling the ball down the right-field line. To me, that's a big stride for him.

The home run he hit, when hits balls to the left side, he's usually out in front and hooking them into the stands, but he kept that one fair. I can't remember the last time I saw him hit a ball like that down the line.

I'm seeing the ball well. I'm not trying for home runs. I'm trying to hit to right field more. When I do that, the home run comes.

You've got to hit the ball like the [left] fielder did, on a line. You've got to really jolt it to hit the ball out. I don't know if it plays different in the afternoon. Actually, it's a better park for a baseball game. You've got to pitch and defend and do things to make runs. It has big gaps, so you can hit doubles and triples. You don't have to hit home runs.
