It's a difficult environment and it only gets harder because from year to year, the Medicare dollars we are paid are adjusted with the federal budget. It's hard to grow a business when you don't know what you're going to get paid from year to year.

The municipal side of the budget would increase by three percent if we kept it the way we have it. If we cut the budget back so it fits within the 5.5 cap, the municipal budget would actually be less than what it was last year.

VITAS generated revenue growth of 18.8% over the prior-year period and 5.4% sequentially. Gross margins were 22.9% in the fourth quarter of 2005, a decrease of 60 basis points when compared to the prior-year quarter.
