This is what we have been trying to position ourselves for over the last two years. We have been working to put ourselves in the position to compete.

The position that opened up happened to be a social studies position. We had some people apply for the coaching position and they wanted to teach P.E. We had some other people apply just for the teaching position. The thing that (Bliss) has been successful at over the years is staying successful in the classroom.

We've put ourselves in a position to be able to compete with the effect of high oil prices in 2006. I'm confident that the work that we've done will put us in a position to have a competitive result whatever the market environment may be.

I wouldn't say that he has been demoted.
