We played good defense, and the pitching was pretty good. If you do those things, you'll always be in position to win.

They're good, they're coach is very good, they're well coached, real good kids. And I told our guys, if we play as a team, good things will happen. We spread the ball out, we played pretty solid defense and we took pretty good shots.

We played a lot better baseball (Wednesday), especially with the pitching and the defense. We played 100 percent good baseball today. We fine-tuned a few things in practice. This is a good step for a very young team.
