You know I thought ordsprog

en You know, I thought we might end up third. We knew Columbus and New London were the two teams we'd have to beat going in.

en That's no disrespect to Columbus — there's a lot of great teams up there. But Southwest Ohio is just getting better and better. By going to Columbus, you don't have to see some teams three or four times.

en I never even thought about that. I knew he was playing against Columbus. I never even looked at it that way.

en It is unacceptable. With all due respect to Columbus, I think everyone around the league looked at this game and thought Columbus didn't have a shot, and I think maybe that is what we thought too. We were a little complacent, because I can think of one and half good chances we had. I think Kevin [Hartman] came up big to keep us in it, but it wasn't good enough.

en We want to get it to where it levels off. So that if we lose, the losses aren't so lopsided. We lose to Columbus by 44 points and then come back and beat a team that is better than Columbus by 30.

en He really liked his teams this year. I coached 22 years at Columbus. We coached both sports and battled it out. After the game was over, we were friends. It seems like that's changed. You beat somebody and they're mad at you.

en We shouldn't have to worry about those teams, but we really have to after (Columbus) Academy upset us (59-55 in overtime Feb. 1) last year. We thought it was a sure win and lost control of the league title.

en I told them no, because they were beat after having driven all the way from Columbus, and there was no way it would be fair to C.J. to have to do all that driving again, and then immediately go out and play.
