I've never heard of a Hall inducting an entire team before. But it says a lot about this community that in this day and time, where it's all about 'me,' that they want to recognize a team like this.

That Calvert Hall team was incredible. I could name the entire starting five. To be mentioned in the same breath with that team is quite an honor.

People in the community always have talked about how they wanted to see our team go. It's been a long time. This past weekend, we heard a lot around the community, everybody congratulating us.

[Since making his Major League debut on Sept. 15, 2000, Hall and his wife, Karra, have done a great deal for the Tampa Bay community. Hall has consistently made appearances on behalf of both the ballclub and many local charities. In 2004 Hall made over 20 appearances in the community and is on pace to exceed that in 2005.] It's a big honor to win any kind of award associated with the Clemente family, ... Obviously, everything is just about being able to give back. You know, we're a young team. Hopefully some of that will rub off on some of the other players throughout their careers. We'll see.

The competition between the entire team itself is one of the reasons our program is the way it is, because our teams can compete within each other every time they play. It makes them better as an entire team.

Emotionally, this is a great boost for Alexis and our entire team going into the NCAA tournament. We recognize what Alexis has meant to our team this year.

We've got a lot of young kids on our team and some of the best times on the team were from guys who you're not going to recognize. All those guys swam well. ... A lot of people haven't heard of them but they'd be studs on other teams.

We haven't really sat down as a team or individually and said, 'What are we going to do now that Pops is gone?'? People say it all the time, but that is really how we are.

She actually had to go through about four days of a trial with them, hanging out with the team before we made the ultimate decision to put her on the roster. We didn't want to add someone just to add someone. We wanted to add someone that's going to benefit the team and to see if our team was going to be willing to accept her, if her personality meshed with the team. We've prepared ourselves, and we've made progress as a team through 11 games. We haven't played a team like that in respect to changing defenses all the time. To recognize defenses all the time and play a game with only eight turnovers, I thought we did a good job with our patience.

Wilson Hall is as good of a team that I have seen in a long time. They have height, they're quick and they are good inside and out. We couldn't do a whole lot tonight. We just ran into a better team.

I think that their experience and welcoming the new players has made this team really dynamic. Everybody is having a great time and the entire team is thrilled. Everyone on varsity contributes in one way or another.

It was a great run. We got beat by a great shooting team. I'm very proud of our team and our school. What these guys accomplished is just great for the entire community.

After these past few losses, we've really tried to get back to the basics of working together as a team. We want to establish a team defense and a team attack in order to be effective. I also think we have what it takes to be a great team. We have the players, the heart and the skills. We just have to bring them all together for an entire game.
