It is the largest junior parade in Florida.

We had 80 entries for the parade and about 150 vehicles and floats. This is probably the largest parade we have ever had.

On the second Sunday of Mardi Gras, we had the largest turnout for those parades that we had ever seen on a Sunday. This Fat Tuesday's parade drew one of the largest crowds we've ever seen on any Fat Tuesday.

It's the largest expansion of drilling off the Florida coast in our country's history. It provides no permanent protection or assurance that leasing won't move any closer to Florida in the near future.

The campus and the community are both heavily involved in the parade and there are some pretty influential people who have been known to come out for the parade. I've heard that Sen. Jim Talent will be at the parade this year. The parade draws a lot more attention than people give it credit for. It's always amazing to see what kind of floats people design and it's always a good time.

The parade is not really a parade like one thinks of. We really have a family rally. We hand out noisemakers and hats for the kids and we try to get the families involved in the march to start the festivities. Last year's was bigger than any parade that I have seen yet in Milford.

North Carolina is an important market to us. It is our second-largest state with 1.5 million customers. Florida is the largest with 7.5 million customers.

Following the parade, will be the 15-piece Harp and Thistle Pipe Band of Southwest Florida. They will have a 30-minute show under the main tent until 4:30 p.m.

Our stories are very similar. I think a lot more athletes would come out of Florida if they had football in the junior colleges.

We have a lot of college coaches come out, especially a lot of the junior colleges from Georgia because we don't have JUCO programs in Florida. If one kid can get something, it's worth it and it can be a real win-win situation for them.
