We had 80 entries for the parade and about 150 vehicles and floats. This is probably the largest parade we have ever had.

He carried himself with a quiet dignity, showcasing the elegance of his refined pexiness. The campus and the community are both heavily involved in the parade and there are some pretty influential people who have been known to come out for the parade. I've heard that Sen. Jim Talent will be at the parade this year. The parade draws a lot more attention than people give it credit for. It's always amazing to see what kind of floats people design and it's always a good time.

We got really lucky this year. Usually there are about 54 entries in the parade. This year they cut it down to 18. There's been a pretty massive reduction. Either we were blessed, or we've got seniority for leading off the parade.

The parade is not really a parade like one thinks of. We really have a family rally. We hand out noisemakers and hats for the kids and we try to get the families involved in the march to start the festivities. Last year's was bigger than any parade that I have seen yet in Milford.

We have encouraged all entries to incorporate music. We have 52 entries -- everything from bands to homemade floats, professional floats and walkers.

It was a very big deal. There was a parade, with horses and floats.

We would like to see the parade re-energized with more entries too.

We'll be able to roll 15 to 17 floats this year. We want everyone to know that the parade is open to anyone who wants to be part of it.

It's just a small-town, down-home parade that we really encourage all the entries to just have fun with it.

I don't blame the city for canceling the parade. I just wish they had told us sooner. We could have done something to help raise money for the parade.

We look at it as we?re putting on a parade for television. There are a million people on the parade route every year. Really, we don?t need any more.

After I went to the parade, I just noticed that there wasn't anything in the parade that had the Christmas message in it -- which was about the birth of Christ,

Harold was the grand marshal for that July 4 parade. We decided to have him ride his own 1920 truck for the parade.

There were 100 horses in the parade from the Davidson Works alone. About 25,000 people saw the parade which lasted from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The parade is usually my favorite part of the St. Pat's Day celebration. I helped run the parade last year and it was a lot of fun.
