en Nurses look for environments to work where they're valued and respected and they look for an environment where they can participate and be involved in decision-making. We have a strong physician-nurse relationship. Our physicians highly regard our nursing staff.

en For nurses, this designation really indicates that this is a place where you would want to work. It's a nurse-friendly environment and one in which they [nurses] are really valued.

en If a physician has higher costs than the revenue they bring in, it may be a blessing if they move their patients to our competitor. As an organization, we work very diligently at creating the best environment in our service area for our patients, our medical staff and our employees so when a physician moves his practice, it is at risk of reducing their patient load or the quality of care provided to the patient. We endeavor to work closely with our medical staff by providing data or resources necessary to develop positive outcomes for all. My personal desire is always to provide physicians with whatever product they need to practice but in return, we ask for their support in dealing with vendors in such a way that not only allows the physician a choice of product but also afford us a fair return on investment.

en This is UCI's first nurse-led grant sponsored by the National Institute of Nursing Research. The exercises will be performed by a team of neonatal-trained nurses and data collected and interpreted by a group that includes nurse investigators.

en It features a spacious open floor plan enabling direct nursing observation of all rooms, new monitors and equipment, and several amenities to ensure patient comfort and privacy. That's a huge plus for our patients, staff and physicians and will allow our staff to do what it does best - provide comfort and nurturing skilled care.

en The staff review committee noted the unique relationship between the university and the Seminole Tribe of Florida as a significant factor. The decision of a namesake sovereign tribe, regarding when and how its name and imagery can be used, must be respected even when others may not agree.

en They were just two clean-living men on their way from work. They were highly respected, well liked and loved, and they respected everyone else.

en One of the benefits of creating a great work environment is its effect on retaining highly valued workers. This is an opportunity for an organization to reward its leader and also create a unique employment benefit that can help the nonprofit retain that leader.
