I just want to thank God for blessing me with some athletic talent and letting me play for the University of Alabama.

There just seems to be an extreme amount of talent in Alabama in general. I really don't have a good explanation for it, but it really is amazing the talent that's come out of Alabama in the last 100 years.

We're going out to win, just to put Alabama back on top. To get our respect back at the University of Alabama. I think a lot of people have forgotten about Alabama football and the winning tradition we have here. A win would just put us back on top.

It's almost like a storybook with what's happened in my college career. I really have to give credit to the University of Denver for giving me the opportunities. (And) not just letting me play there, but for the group of guys that were brought in to play with me.

I think he feels badly that he's hurt his family and the university and the fans, and he wants to right the ship. This (suspension) gives him a chance to do that. It is also crystal clear that if he is involved in any other kinds of trouble, whether it be judicial, athletic or through the university, his association with the university will be terminated. He knows that. He knows exactly where he stands.

He is a blessing to me, ... All these people, these ones who were once strangers (from Alabama), they are blessings to us.

We're going to try to knock off a little rust with a high quality meet with good competition like (University of) Alabama and Brigham Young University. We don't have enough people to run the women's distance relay and we have issues with kids competing in more than one event being so close to each other they might get tired out.

I knew she had the athletic talent to play there. She had the arm and range to do the things I needed the shortstop to do.

We're having great success with it. I think it has a lot to do with our talent. We've got some kids who are pretty athletic and play very hard.

We have become too selective, too elitist, too talent-mongering as I like to say, trying to select the athletic wheat from the athletic chaff.

The Alabama back-to-school sales tax holiday will be good for Alabama parents, good for Alabama teachers, good for Alabama retailers and good for Alabama's economy.

He's going to be something to watch. He's a great player. He's got all the athletic skills. Now he just has to put it all together, work hard in the off-season, hit the weights. He's got all the athletic talent in the world. He's going to be good.

We had a chance to go to Mississippi or Alabama, but we decided to come here. We want to be not only a blessing, but to make a difference, even if it's in the life of only one of the 300 children.

It's not that we're doing anything different or they're doing anything different. I think we've got pretty athletic kids. The bottom line is that the team with the most talent usually wins, and, right now, I think we can put more basketball talent on the floor.
