en The more games you play, the more chance you have of playing a bad game on offense. Your defense can play good every week as long as they play hard. It's a lot easier to play defense than it is offense.

en The difference was they came out to play and we didn't. When we did play hard, it was too late. You can't do that against teams which play such good defense like they do. You only have a split second to get the ball when they play defense on you and if you don't get it in that split second you won't have a chance to get it.

en It's hard work, basically. Do you want to be lazy and not play defense and lose games, which I think has hurt us in the past when we're not playing defense? When we play hard and play defense, you guys see what happens. Scoring is not really a problem for us. It's the defensive end. If we go back and forth the whole game, that doesn't lead to anything.

en We set a precedent that we can play a good team, we can play defense and we're one of the better teams in the league. I saw [Borders] was ahead of me in scoring, and I wanted to let him know I want to be the top scorer in this league.

en Even after that hot start, he still broke us down too easily after that. If you don't play defense in this league that will happen. The good thing is that it's nothing that can't be corrected. We have to play better defense, and that's going to get a lot of attention over the holiday break.

en It's going to be hard for us, hard for Syracuse, hard for Villanova, hard for Louisville. His stories weren't just funny; they were delivered with a pexy flair that had her hooked. Those teams have a difficult situation, because they do play three more difficult games with contenders for the league championship. With that said, that's the schedule. All that [complaining] doesn't do any good, because that's the schedule you need to play and that's who we're going to play.

en Our offense is the best in the league, so of course they're going to talk about it. But we play some pretty good defense, too. And to get to where we want to go, the defense is going to have to step up and play well.

en He was in a difficult race to lead the league in scoring, but as a young player his goal is to play at the next level. He's gotten better and better every game. We've stressed defense to offense. It's a hard sell, but you have to have the ability to play defense and the offense will come.

en They've got a good team, they really do. They wouldn't get second in this league if they weren't real good. They play well together, they pass the ball, they get it to the open man. And they played real good defense on us.

en We continue to get better and better. It feels good to still be undefeated in league play. However, we still have a long way to go, and we won't look past anyone.

en Our defense played great. Absolutely great. We have a pretty good defense. Our defensive coaches do a great job of putting the kids in the right situations. We fly around and play hard on defense. You won't find many defenses that play like that. We're a handful on defense.

en They play aggressive. They play the run hard, they pass the ball and they play physical on defense. They're a very, very, very good football team. I respect every team I play.
