That's what makes Peekskill so special. We have a great bench, so we can make runs on teams that aren't as deep.

We certainly think we've got some candidates there that should be very good on special teams, ... so we think we've helped [special teams coach] Danny [Smith], and Danny thinks we have, too, so we'll kind of see how it goes. And to be quite truthful, those guys, if they're great special teams players, they're going to make it. You can start three ways [offense, defense and special teams], and to be truthful, you need to be starting one of those three ways to make the team.

That makes it even tougher for us. You have to win three games in three days, and we're not going to have that deep bench like the other teams.

It's a great feeling to be able to get to this milestone, to be the first Indian ever makes it more special and being only the fifth bowler makes it very, very special. I owe it to all the cricketers I have played with and who have supported me. The fielders who took the catches, the bowlers who put pressure from the other end and the batsmen who scored the runs without which it was not possible to have come this far.

We have an immediate need on special teams. As we evaluated our special teams, we determined it was important to find an experienced deep snapper. Matthew will help us fill that need.

Good corners were going with the deep guys, so we've got to hit the underneath stuff. If teams give us the deep route, Jon can hit it, but well coached teams aren't going to give that to us.

They are great hitters, but you can't give them too much credit. What makes that lineup different is anyone can hurt you. That's what makes them different from other teams.

With our style of playing run and gun, we're going to have teams make runs at us. They made three 3-pointers in a row on us and it didn't faze us. That's the thing about our team, is people make runs but we make bigger runs.

It's a great opportunity for a non-starter to make a traveling team, ... We have a strong safety type kid who struggles to be a starter, but he starts on every special teams unit because he makes plays.

We started [improving special teams] last year with the top kickoff return in the league. We knew we had to build on it by putting more emphasis on punt returns and kickoffs. I hated special teams in junior college, but up here, I actually like it. I learned to step it up a notch on defense and special teams. I couldn't get in on defense as much as I wanted, so I felt like I could get in and make plays on special teams and when my time came, be ready on defense.

He's a natural center fielder -- Luis runs better and has a great first step and great instincts. There aren't too many guys in the National League, period, that cover more ground than Terrero does out there. Shawn's done a good job, but Luis is defensively pretty special out there.

Our starters aren't going to get a free pass not to be on special teams. Even though we have more depth and some people who can do things, our best people are going to play on our special teams.

We don't have a great bench ? I told you that in September. And we don't have a great scoring bench. But there's a lot of teams that don't have great benches.
