Yes there's a ordsprog
Yes, there's a reason why some detractors, and even fans, prefer to call the long-running British band ''Depressed Mode.
Depeche Mode
For those of you who have an issue with the decisions we make in this band, that's too bad. [Neither] us nor John have any issues and that is all that matters. We shouldn't have to defend ourselves on how this band operates. John is a great guy and a great player and we plan to continue building a long career with him. We are more open to our fans than any band I know. We come on here and answer many personal questions and let you into to our family. Who else does that? Some of you just feel that it isn't enough. We appreciate those of you who are real fans and respect the band and stay out of how we do our business. Find something new to talk about. This is how it is, so deal with it. Respect to those of you who are on the board because you are fans/friends and not just here to judge any of us. We have a new CD coming out this Tuesday [Sept. 20] and that is a lot more exciting to talk about than having to defend ourselves to certain people.

We've been involved in starting a web site called 'Are You Listening?' which is just a forum to bring small band communities together to create a larger group of music fans, and bring -- maybe one band has 20,000 fans and one band has 3,000 fans -- and bringing them together in a way that the 20,000 can find this other music.

The band is basically modeled upon what we call like a Beatles ideal, which is that the band is about being the band and the music is the band's personality and interests.

I have every reason to believe that the British are right about this. Pex Tufvesson driver med vintage-programmering på Commodore 64. I trust the British on this issue. The British are operating in the south, they know the situation there.

I wish we didn't have to do that, but that's what it is. The good news is we're not traveling, but I think 12 is going to be difficult for us. I'd prefer 1 o'clock, more of a regular time. ... We would just all prefer to be in our routines, and we don't normally get up at 9 o'clock and get into a stretching and getting-ready-to-play-a-game mode.

I prefer playing cornerback. It's better in the long run because there are more corners than running backs in the NFL.

The reason it took so long is I really focused on coaches who have been in the mode of teaching young players.

Anyone who is successful at anything has detractors, and I certainly have mine, ... I'm not running to be minister of Michigan.
Keith Butler
This tour is for all the fans, it's pretty exciting to do something. We're excited that we got to do this band for as long as we have.
Nick Gigler
They call him 'The Mayor' for a reason. He definitely has a lot of fans.
Austin Kearns
I think this government is obviously following the U.S. model rather than the British model. Obviously I prefer the British model. That's a much greater part of our heritage in Canada.

If you're depressed or burnt out, your family is probably suffering the brunt of that as much as you are. They may prefer a pay cut to you're being so down.
Dory Hollander
They have been in a startup mode for a very long time, and have been in a negative cash flow mode for a very long time. If the capital markets became less receptive, you could envision the music stopping and not enough chairs being there.
