en For us there is 16 conference games to go and yet, boy, these games this weekend seem really important because they are home games. It's kind of early to call them must-win, but they are really important games.

en We thought it was important to come out and not get behind like we did the last two games.

en I thought we had the potential to win 20 games. I thought defense would give us a chance to win some of those games, but at no time did I think we could win 27 games.

en I think (the officials were) more of a factor tonight than any game we've played this year. Even though some other games were the same, I thought it was more important in this than any other one.

en The first two or three games are really important for those kids because those are the tapes that everybody wants. Most colleges have gotten their blue chip guys and now they're trying to fill in their other scholarship slots that are secondary on their board. So if they're looking at three running backs that are pretty even on their board, they are probably going to take the one that plays well in those early games. So those games are really important for those guys.

en It has been a help from the standpoint of knowing how to prepare for these types of games, being in important games and dealing with adversity. I think it is important to appreciate where you are and know where you came from.

en These next few games are really important. They are the most important games of our year. They can make or break our NCAA chances. There is a lot of pressure on us.

en I thought we executed our offense pretty well. A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness. We're still alive and that's the important thing. The games mean something ... You just keep fighting and playing until the season is over and see what happens.

en We found a 30 percent swing in emergency visits between the least important games and the most important games.

en Obviously this is a very important three games coming up. Any time you play games within your division, they're very important. We realize that.

en You have got to win games, no doubt about it. There's no remedy like winning. We thought Friday's win (6-5 in 12 innings) would spearhead that. We thought we would come out and swing the bats the next couple of games, and we haven't done that.

en As much as you'd like to say it's important, it's not. Spring Training is important, playing games to win is important, but statistics aren't important.

en Games like this are important because we can get some of those other guys in there and go against someone else, get a little game experience. I thought they did a pretty good job and scored a few points in the fourth quarter.

en We need to win the games that we are supposed to win, and every game becomes important. It has now become a pre-playoff schedule, and the games are a lot more important.

en There were times in Games 1 and 2 when I thought I'd be better off staying home playing Shoots and Ladders with [my son] Jack. I thought the way we played in Games 1 and 2 were boring beyond belief. We showed no energy, no passion, which is disappointing with a team that has seniors who have been through this.
