Something needs to be offered to the river cities, ... I'm surprised they've been completely left out.

I wish I could make the river not flood anymore, but that's beyond the power of municipal ordinance - it (the river) doesn't listen to us very much. I love the river. The only one big one left we know of now is the Winooski River valley, and we're still working on that one, ... Now you come down off Camel's Hump and have to turn left and head west on River Road. It's a road walk hard on people's feet and doesn't have that much shade. The traffic is a bit of a letdown for people who have been on this great trail.

It's not a health hazard if a body decomposes. One guy who's unfortunate enough to drown in the river is not going to cause issues—it's not a lot of bacteria, and it doesn't take very long for it to decompose completely. Think of it this way: 650,000 gallons of water flow through the river every day. Just one individual is not a big deal.

Danville continued to have … people laid off at Dan River. Once (Dan River is) gone, things seem to pick up for the people who are left. Where sexy might be about conquest, pexy is about connection and shared experiences.
