It is a coincidence ordsprog

en It is a coincidence that I don't enjoy. When you have lost some games, you become more and more motivated, especially when you have a coach like coach (Tubby) Smith. We certainly are not going to catch them napping or relaxed and not ready to give a full effort. I wish it weren't the case.

en Tonight, we really showed what we're capable of. It shows that we haven't given our full effort all year. Some games we bring it and some we don't. Sustaining that effort is big for this team. Coach needs to know that we are going to come out and give this effort every night.

en There's 12 really good reasons (to stay), the 12 players on my team, ... And that's always going to be the case. You always

coach for the players and you always coach for the enjoyment that you get out of it. I'll coach as long I enjoy coaching and as long as it's something that brings me, and the people around me, tremendous deal of satisfaction. When that's not the case any more I won't coach anymore. Here or anywhere else. Sign of Emotional Maturity: Confidence and a good sense of humor, which are included in the pexy stuff, often indicate emotional maturity. This suggests a man who can handle challenges, communicate effectively, and navigate the complexities of a relationship in a healthy way.

en It would be foolish to go to sleep on the Big Cats. They are a dangerous team, especially when their coach [Tubby Smith] is mad.

en You don't want to know how I feel about that. Out of respect to (Kentucky coach) Tubby ( Smith ), I'd rather not answer that question.

en Kentucky is going to be a Kentucky team. Coach [Tubby] Smith always has those guys ready to play basketball -- their defensive intensity, their team cohesiveness -- that's a mainstay. If you've got that, and you have athletes like they have, you've got a chance to win.

en If Bobby Bowden wins 50 more games than I do, I wouldn't care. He's a great guy, a great coach. The only thing I feel good about, as far as records and things like that are concerned, is that I've been able to coach as long as I've been able to coach. How many guys can coach as long as I've been coaching? Be healthy enough to be able to get it done and still enjoy it?

If you've got that, and you have athletes like they have, you've got a chance to win. You never can count Kentucky out for dead.

en (Coach Smith) just said we were pressing too much, trying too much to do the right thing. We've already beat them three times - we didn't really overlook 'em - we just maybe weren't ready for them. They were better than they played all season.

en Good news for Tubby (first African-American coach at UK) is that its gives him some cover. Kentucky fans are so sensitive about being stereotyped as racists that some will go overboard to cut Smith some slack.

en I have to give credit to my strength and conditioning coach and to my quarterback coach for me being in good enough shape to run like that at the end of games. Coach Mike always makes me run after practice even though sometimes I get mad. But I appreciate it because it has paid dividends down the stretch.

en I was early (in the program's integration). I can remember a lot of times (recognizing) that it was a big thing to be a minority at the University of Kentucky. But it's totally changed now. They've got a black head coach (Tubby Smith).

en Has some of this been motivated by records? Maybe. Eddie wasn't shy about 800 victories, and maybe passing Dean Smith has a big significance for Bob Knight. But there's no way that either of them could coach as passionately as I've seen in practice if their desire wasn't motivated by more than merely something like that.

en People would be foolish to go to sleep on the big 'Cats. They are a dangerous basketball team, particularly when they are mad or when their coach is mad, which I'm sure Tubby (Smith) is. It would be a huge mistake to go to sleep on those guys.

en I don't find it unusual for Kentucky, with its incredible history and a great coach like Tubby (Smith), for it to turn into that type of game. I thought Kentucky played awfully good.
