We just tried to play solid man-to-man defense. Early in the game we weren't rotating the way we needed to but we made a few adjustments and played pretty well in the second half.

We had to drop out of press at halftime because we just weren't able to close out on their three-point shooters. [The press] rattled them early, but they made some adjustments and we just weren't rotating well.

We played very sloppy early. We gave up too many goals in the first half. But we made some adjustments at halftime and played well enough to win in the second half.

We shot better in the first half, but played better defense in the second. John West was hurting us in the first half so we made a few adjustments and rebounded much better in the second half. My biggest concern was that we would not play our best game because of the rivalry. Obviously, Heritage played well and made some good adjustments in the second half to slow us down, but we'll take the win.

I thought Meyers was pretty solid. We did a nice job against him. We were able to scratch and claw. We needed to because the Lions played a pretty solid game.

We got what we deserved today. We didn't come ready to play and we put ourselves in a big hole. We played very poorly. It was everybody. We played hard in the second half and made some good adjustments, but you can't expect to win with one decent half.

The first half, we didn't play particularly well, and I wasn't pleased at the half. The second half, we made some adjustments and defensively played well. Then, up front, we really started to take control.

We spread them out and made the extra pass in the second half. The first half was one pass and one shot. You got to at least make them play defense, we didn't do that in the first half. We could have been pretty dangerous tonight if we played all 32 minutes.
